After attending school at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) studying finance and real estate, Stephanie made her home in California in 1980.
She is an attorney admitted to the California bar, and in 1997 was named Pro Bono lawyer of the year for this area.
After settling in Long Beach, Stephanie was in the first graduating class of the Long Beach Citizens, Police Academy. Since that time, she has been involved in many local issues.
Stephanie has taught battered women at Rainbow Services in San Pedro how to legally protect themselves and their children, she has mediated disputes between neighbors, and has worked with the Long Beach Police Chief's task force to ensure fairness to gays and lesbians. |

Reba Birmingham
was the valedictorian of her graduating class
from Pacific Coast University.
Reba's practice emphasizes step-parent adoption, probate and family law.
She was co-counsel last year with Lambda Legal, in the precident setting case Ellis vs. Arriaga.
Both Stephanie and Reba are past presidents of Women Lawyers of Long Beach.

L. Johanna Dreisbach, graduated in 1999 from the University of Saint Bonaventure, in Cali, Colombia. She obtained her attorney license that same year in Colombia where she practiced law as a corporate attorney.
In 2000, Johanna relocated to the United States to continue her studies, and was admitted to practice law in California in 2005. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she has been able to represent a large number of members of the Latino community.
Johanna concentrates her practice in the areas of Family Law and Bankruptcy. |
